Pontis day 2012: work hard, walk hard

Every year right before the start of the holiday season, we organize the Pontis day: an informal and fun get-together for the entire international Pontis team with the aim to catch up on a personal level and thank everyone for their hard work.

The day activity is generally a typical Dutch exercise. This year we went for an intertidal guided tour through an area that holds a natural beauty, unique in the world: the Dutch Wadden Sea. In June 2009 the Wadden Sea was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List .

As Pontis has contributed to preserve the exceptional nature of this area, there was more than enough reason for the team to explore the area personally: by foot! After 10 kilometers and approximately 3 hours of hiking though mudflats, sand flats and channels we reached the restaurant on the beach, where we could relax, enjoy and look back on a unique experience and a successful Pontis day 2012.
